Scholarships
Eastern Michigan University's Presidential Scholarship
competition is open to EMU applicants who have 3.7 or higher GPA or a
3.35-3.9 GPA and a minimum 25 ACT.
Central Michigan University's Centralis Scholarship
competition is open to CMU applicants with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Qualified
students are invited to attend honors day and Centralis Scholarship
Competition on Saturday, October 18.
SAE Engineering Scholarships are available to seniors pursuing a
technical/engineering careers. For more info visit SAE website at

Coca-Cola Scholars
Foundation offers scholarships to seniors based on academic
achievement, involvement, and leadership. Seniors can apply online at
www.coca-colascholars.org
EA Foundation Scholarship applications are available to seniors
with a minimum 3.0 GPA; application includes a one page essay, two
letters of recommendation and a $5 processing fee. Download in the
application at
www.esaintl.com/ESAF. Deadline is February 1.
Edwards J. Barant Scholarship is offered by Michigan State
University. Students admitted to MSU can email the office of
admissions and scholarships at
snecken1@msu.edu for more info.
AXA Achievement Scholarships is presented by US News and World
Report to students who meet the qualifications: well-rounded, committed
to making a difference and have demonstrated achievement at a job,
sport, or extracurricular activity.

Kennedy Boosters club is offering $500 scholarship to one
kennedy boy and girl, based on scholarship, athletics, and activities.

Representatives from the following colleges and universities at Kennedy to
discuss their respective colleges with interested college-bound juniors
and seniors. See your consoler for a pass to attend. Sessions are
approximately are one half hour.
Currently,
Applications for the Michigan Education Association Scholarship are now
available in the counseling office. Criteria for section include
achievement, community services, and extracurricular activities. Students
do not have to be going into education to qualify.
